An Iconic house requires and iconic garden right?. The famous Mobius house is surrounded by the Möbius garden which is a continuation of the play on lines (house designed by UN Studio). The garden connects the house to the adjacent woods with snaking lines that turn and double back before diving in the thick undergrowth.
My favorite feature is the black bottom pool that reflects the trees and the sky. Similar to the pool, the glass of the house is meant to reflect the texture and color of the trees and the changing seasons. While I am fairly sure I could not happily live in this cold seeming concrete home, I can certainly appreciate the interesting thoughts about reflection and lines on the landscape.
