You probably have seen Anna Garforth’s work around….she is one of the original ‘moss words on walls’ artists. But she has some other really exciting and inspiring work too. Like this piece called ‘The Big Bang’. She describes it: “The Big Bang depicts Mother Earth as a seed shattering explosion.” — I love the varied textures of the mosses used. Like a painting.
And isn’t this nameless pet sweet? Perfect company for a gardener who doesn’t want scratched up furniture or pee circles in the grass.
But the thing I am loving the most is this chain link fence installation. Before seeing this, I could have argued for the complete banishment of chainlink fences. But combine it with masking tape to create a garden-y typography masterpiece and suddenly, not only do I want to banish it, but I want some……I wonder if I can do something this cool on the chicken wire that encloses my chicken coop?
Heres is a fun project that totally rips things apart (and puts them back together!) using sedum, semps and other succulents
