I am in Richmond VA helping my dear friend Shelley plan out her new garden. We have been having fun sitting here side by side with laptops — (she is an architect) — so she is drawing, while I point and adjust and I am on the other computer making plant lists and showing her beautiful accessories and materials. I am making another set of images to show you the rest of our design. But here is our planting scheme… Yesterday we attended the Ginter Park, Richmond Home and Garden Tour– our goal is to have her garden on the tour in the within 3 years.
1. White Clematis, 2. White Clematis, 3. Lavender bokeh, 4. lilac flower – lila Flieder, 5. Lilac, MANY SMALL ONES…, 6. Snowball Hydrangea, 7. Hydrangea Annabelle, 8. Heuchera “Creme Brule”, 9. varigated liriope, 10. FESTUCA GLAUCA BLUE, 11. Yarrow, 12. Heuchera #2, 13. Buxus balls for sale / Buxus bollen te koop, 14. perennial Salvia, 15. Salvia May Night, 16. This planting plan features colors that will pop against her cute cottage house, will survive in a mix of sun and part shade, and will give her the romantic but tailored charm that she is after.
