I’m British, 42 years old and mother to two small(ish) children. I live in Portland, Oregon. I spent over 10 years working in magazine publishing as an editor. I left publishing to start a business with my husband which has now become Treehouse.

Now, I am a full-time mum who also writes about gardening. Aside from My Tiny Plot I write for Horticulture magazine, Gardenista.com,Pith & Vigor, Grounded Magazine and previously Handmade Living magazine. I’m also a Master Gardener and enjoy helping people make more of their gardens.
