This swimming pool garden is so unlike the typical American pool installation.  I am generally no fan of pools but this garden is so chic and sophisticated.  I love the idea of the pool being paired with the formal boxwood edged herb and flower garden.  The modern lines of the swimming area and the traditional structure of the garden are in such unique contrast that I find this completely appealing.

And its restful….most pools look like zones for hyperactive kid splashing fun – not something I associate with peace, but this one seems like a place where parents and kids can both enjoy themselves.
