“I can make that” — I swear I say that way too much and subsequently have so many projects going at once that I can’t keep track of them all. Discipline is keeping me from starting this one, because I really like those birdcage lights — which are totally make-able. Wire together two birdcages with another inside, paint, and mount on an outdoor rated pendant light. I saw this over at Joseph Hillenmeyer’s blog but the picture is originally from Travel and Leisure magazine.
Should be easy enough to do.
One sympathizes with your wanting to ‘create your own world’, I’m currently debating with my wife the moral discord of using an old shopping trolley as a baby crib!
Why not I say, I recently purchase (for a small fortune) a set of reproduction Bertoia Wire side chairs. As pleased as I am with them I can’t help thinking that with a few old shopping baskets and a lump hammer…
